The consideration of four simple words changed everything for me: “This is your life.”

 

From start to finish, writing my book was a journey back to myself and a reminder of the power of my voice. I wrote about what mattered to me in the present and the beliefs about myself I no longer wished to carry. There comes a time when we must shift our perspective in order to move forward and grow. I put so much love into not only writing each of these poems but also crafting a story arc of healing, which I hope resonates with and maybe even helps you. 

 

When you decide to be unapologetically yourself, that’s when life opens up. I am already so grateful for the support I’ve received in the process of putting this work out into the world. It has made me feel so loved and seen. 

 

One step closer to my stories becoming yours. x
